My 10 year old son had an inguinal hernia repair at Lancaster hospital recently. Mr Crighton really made my son feel at ease from the first consultation. He had a joke with him yet explained things so my son understood what was ahead and how it would happen. It was so reassuring that it was Mr Crighton who initially assessed him and was the surgeon on the day of his op. He came and checked on us following the operation and was very approachable yet professional. Our experience from start to finish was very positive. My son is recovering well. Many thanks

Mr Crighton recently did a hernia operation on our daughter , we were all put at ease and the operation was explained in full without frightening our daughter who is only ten. Mr Crighton came round after the operation to inform us it had all gone well and to ask our daughter if she was ok, the scar has healed well and is very neat. Our daughter was a fan of Mr Crighton especially as he said she was brave and didnt have to clean her room for 6 months and should have full control of the tv whilst she recovered!!! Many thanks to Mr Crighton and the rest of his team you do a wonderful job
